Internationally acclaimed trumpeter, composer, and educator Sean Jones and friends will present a jazz concert for the Tiffany Series at Brown Memorial Park Avenue Presbyterian Church.
Jones, who is the new chair of Peabody’s Jazz Department, comes to us fresh from leading the Carnegie Hall National Youth Orchestra Jazz’s inaugural European tour. He was featured on the 2007 Grammy Award-winning album “Turned to Blue” by Nancy Wilson, and has many albums of his own. He is artistic director of the Pittsburgh Jazz Orchesra, Artist-in-Residence at San Francisco Performances, and a member of the SFJAZZ Collective. Jones previously was chair of the Brass Department at Berklee College of Music.
Tickets are $20 and available at browndowntown.org/current-season and at the door. Students get free admission. We also offer Patron ($50) tickets as a way for you to help the Tiffany Series continue to provide quality concerts and speakers.
