Installation of Officers

Baltimore, MD, September 25, 2022 - Jordan Prescott, AAGO, Andrew Johnson, AAGO, and the choir from the Church of the Redeemer, under the direction of Bert Landman, led our Evening Prayer and Installation Service at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church. The service included works of Frank, Tallis, Willan, and Stanford’s Evening Service in C, on Corpus Christi’s 1889 J. H. & C. S. O’Dell Opus 227 and featured readings from the Old and New Testament.

Rev Fr. Thomas Malia, Chaplain of the Baltimore Chapter, presided over the service and Dr. John Walker, FAGO, and past president of the American Guild of Organists administered the oath to our new Officers and Executive Board who were asked to, “to keep the Mission and Vision statements of the American Guild of Organists in mind as you carry out the functions of your offices,” and, “accept the challenges and responsibilities of the office to which you have been elected and agree to work with your fellow officers and members in an atmosphere of mutual respect, toward the common goals and continued health and growth of the Baltimore Chapter and the American Guild of Organists.”

A reception and fellowship immediately followed at Brown Memorial Presbyterian Church.
